We Think Health MattersPeople are often perplexed about why the Seventh-day Adventist Church — or any church — cares about health. After all shouldn't we just worry about the spiritual stuff, salvation, heaven and all that? In fact, the Bible encourages us to find balance in all aspects of our lives including the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and of course, spiritual. Interestingly, major health bodies such as the World Health Organisation now recognise that true health means a total state of well-being. The Seventh-day Adventist Church has a particular emphasis on helping communities and individuals live life to the full. We believe that through healthy living everyone can reach their true God-given potential!
Pastors, Health Leaders and Volunteers
The NNSW Conference Health team have established a site just for pastors, health leaders and volunteers. This site is password-protected and is a great place to learn about the resources available from the church, upcoming training, recent news and research, upcoming events and much more.
The best bit is you don't need to visit the site everyday to keep up to date. All NNSW Health volunteers are included on a list that sends you an email each day the site is updated. If you are not receiving the emails and would like to, please let us firstname.lastname@example.org or use our contact form.
